Shyan Selah Releases “Pink Butterfly” YouTube Dedicated to Breast Cancer Survivors

Aug. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- After a special delivery of his new single, “Pink Butterfly,” went out exclusively to online radio DJs around the world, Shyan Selah has also posted a poignant and inspiring YouTube  of the song illustrated by photos of women under the age of 40 who have survived breast cancer.

“With this video, I really wanted to get the attention of men to raise awareness of this issue,” says Selah. “The song is told from a male’s point of view who has fallen for this girl and can’t understand why she’s aloof, why she has mood swings, why she’s distant.  He doesn’t know, and therefore, the listener isn’t aware until it’s shown in the video.”

Selah says the YouTube video is a precursor to the official “Pink Butterfly” music video, which will come out in October when the single will have its wide-release street date. That video will also expand on the breast cancer story and theme. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
