July 30, 2012 - PRLog -- San Francisco Giants outfielder Melky Cabrera has had the hot hand wearing Franklin batting gloves this season. The former Yankee and this year’s All-Star MVP leads the Major Leagues with 139 hits, and would become the first Giants player to top the big leagues in hits since the immortal Willie Mays in 1960.

Cabrera is hitting a blistering .353 as of Sunday’s games with 10 home runs and 51 RBI. He is batting .361 in July. His average is second in the majors behind Andrew McCutchen of the Pirates at .368

Cabrera wears the Franklin model NEO CLASSIC® gloves.  He is one of dozens of major leaguers who wear Franklin gloves, including fellow superstars Joey Votto, Josh Hamilton and many others.

Another hot July hitter wearing the Franklin batting glove is the Mets Daniel Murphy. The second baseman is at a torrid .390 July clip, boosting his average to .305.

Franklin Sports (www.franklinbaseball.com) is the maker of the official batting glove of Major League Baseball which is worn by many of the world’s finest hitters.
