Small Town Film Critic Gaining Recognition

About Pam:  Pamela Powell, transplanted New Yorker now living in a small town south of Chicago, is a former Valparaiso and Northwestern University graduate.  Pam has gained recognition in the entertainment reviewer’s world both on the air and on-line.  Previously a part-time instructor in radio broadcasting at Columbia College and full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, Pam has found herself now utilizing her skills in the media industry.  Currently, she is expressing her opinions on the air at 1320 am WKAN’s The Really Big Show regarding not just blockbuster movies, but independent films, and live theater in the Chicago area as well.  Pam also attends film festivals around the country to bring you the most up to date reviews on new movies soon to hit a screen near you.  In addition, she also finds unique interviews of directors, writers, and producers in the film industry.
