(NEJC) is thrilled to announce the dates for its 2013 conference – April 3-5, 2013. Once more, NEJC leaders are calling upon various members from all walks of life to participate in an innovative three-day discussion of advancing environmental justice through people, policy and change. This year, hundreds of attendees including federal and state agencies, local governments, tribes, community groups, businesses small and large as well as public interest groups, academia and other entities united to share and discuss views, challenges and solutions for the very important topic of environmental justice (EJ). The 2012 conference agenda included panel discussions, Q&A segments, online and inperson training and a wide array of networking opportunities. It explored a range of topics including Title VI, Health Disparities and Community Solutions. Various training segments focused on EJ training, grant writing, technical assistance, the enhancement of communities and provided ways for improved productivity and efficiency.
