The Marine Corps Community Services (http://www.mccsmiramar.com/)
Power Muay (owned by Goldberg and retired US Marine Kru Ruben), and Alliance
Training Center will be presenting the event. Other sports personalities attending include
UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championships)
Nogueira and Joey “The Mexecutioner”
participate in all the festivities between the hours of 11 AM and 1 PM Thursday.
Milifidel Founder Andrew Yurcich is proud for Milifidel to be a sponsor of this event and glad to have Goldberg on board as one of Milifidel's official spokesmen. Yurcich reports that Goldberg is a fan of the military clothing brand because he knows it is one of the most authentic brands out there today. Milifidel is a lifestyle clothing line that is
committed to paying homage to the service and bravery of the United States Military,
past, present, and future. A portion of proceeds from Milifidel's sales go to support the West LA Fisher House, a facility that provides housing for the families of wounded soldiers who are receiving treatment at area hospitals.
"Milifidel feels anything we can do to pay homage to our brothers in arms is something
that we're always up for," said Yurcich about Thursday's event. "Milifidel is very excited.
This is our first event where we have Goldberg aligned with us, and what better way to
launch that partnership than at a United States Marine Corps air base in our home state."
Bill Goldberg (www.billgoldberg.com)--
an accomplished professional wrestler who spent the bulk of his career
with two of the most recognized pro wrestling circuits: World
Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Entertainment
(WWE). Goldberg held multiple title belts and remains a popular fan
favorite. Before his wrestling career he played in the NFL for
the LA Rams and Atlanta Falcons. He is also an experienced mixed
martial arts commentator, TV and film actor, and television host.
"We have soldiers over there willing to put their lives on the line for people they don't even know," said Goldberg about the opportunity to salute the troops on Thursday. "Anything I can do to give back is the least that I can do."
The exact location of the event will be in the parking lot between the ITT and the Marine Mart. In addition to the meet and greet opportunities, there will be food, giveaways, and music. For directions to the air station, click on the following
