Cooper Electric Announces the Relocation of their Corporate Office and Central Distribution Center

July 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Monroe, NJ – July 2012: Cooper Electric Supply Co., a subsidiary of Sonepar USA and leading provider of electrical supplies serving New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, is pleased to announce their Corporate Offices relocation to 1 Matrix Drive, Monroe Township, N.J 08831 (Middlesex County). Cooper’s Central Distribution Center (CDC) will also relocate into this new facility by the end of the month.
The 260,000 square foot state-of-the-art building is located within easy access to the NJ-Turnpike, Routes 33, 195, 295, 130, 1 and PA-Turnpike.  Cooper’s Linden Branch will remain at its current location on 1805 Lower Rd, Linden, NJ.  

Along with the CDC and Cooper Electric’s management team, the new Monroe facility is home to several departments: Commercial Lighting, Energy Solutions, Purchasing, Human Resources, Credit, Hardware, Pricing, and Marketing.

The new CDC will enable Cooper to offer their customers a wider and deeper breadth of products, as Cooper Electric is more than doubling their warehouse space.  The new distribution center lets Cooper Electric segment their distribution efforts based on customer needs, increase deliveries, and create efficiencies - a true value for all of their customers. The facility also includes an expanded training center for customers, vendor partners, and Cooper associates. All office space, as well as the warehouse, is fully equipped with modern, energy efficient lighting including LEDs and occupancy sensors in each room. Eventually, there will be a branch added to the facility to service the needs of local customers.

Cooper’s investment to expand and join their CDC and Corporate office reinforces their commitment to providing customers with the highest quality of service.  Thanks to the loyal support of the customers and vendors, Cooper has outgrown the CDC facility in Linden, and as a result, continues to grow and enhance the customer’s experience today and in the future.
