DiSTI Named a Top Ten Industry Leader in Orlando

July 10, 2012 - PRLog -- The DiSTI Corporation, a leading developer of interactive 3D software and customized training solutions, is listed by the Orlando Business Journal among the top ten largest Modeling, Simulation and Training (MS&T) Companies in the Central Florida region. This is the second consecutive year DiSTI was ranked in the top ten, further solidifying DiSTI’s position as a leading provider of the tools and technologies required for delivering advanced cockpit and maintenance training solutions.

Due to rapid growth throughout 2011, DiSTI increased its ranking on this year’s list to the eighth position. The total number of employees, one of the ranking metrics, was 62 at the end of 2011 and continues to rise as a result of the successful expansions of DiSTI’s commercial software products, GL Studio and Replic8. Another contributor for this ranking was the significant increase of highly successful services contracts for industry leading virtual maintenance trainers. To accommodate this growth, DiSTI relocated at the beginning of 2012 to a new 10,500 square foot facility on Corporate Boulevard near the University of Central Florida. The new facility represents a 46% increase in floor space to accommodate the expansion and future growth plans over the next three years.
