The trade show industry’s newly minted Exhibitor and Event Marketers Association is proud to announce the 2012 Red Diamond Congress, to be held July 10th to July 12th in Chicago, IL.
The Red Diamond Congress will be the first annual event of the Exhibitor and Event Marketers Association, which has taken a bold step by merging two of the strongest leading trade show associations, the Exhibitor Appointed Contractor Association and Trade Show Exhibitors Association.
TradeShow Teacher President Linda Musgrove was an immediate shoo-in during the selection process for the lineup of experts invited to speak at this inaugural event. Considering Musgrove's qualifications, which include over a decade of broad range experience in the trade show industry, as well as a widely recognized reputation as a top-notch speaker at trade shows nationwide, it's no wonder Jim Wurm, the newly appointed Executive Director of the Red Diamond Congress Conference, thought her a natural choice.
Musgrove, who was also chosen as an expert in her field by the world- renowned “The Complete Idiot's Guide” series to author “The Complete Idiot's Guide To Trade Shows”, is deeply honored to be selected as an RDC 2012 guest speaker and looks forward to attending the prestigious event as well as presenting a session focused on media relations.

Linda Musgrove will be presenting what promises to be a highly informative session on “Media Relations” on Wednesday, July 11 from 10-10:50am.

Media relations is also recognized as a key component of every trade show marketing strategy because trade shows offer rare occasions to meet face to face with accredited media professionals and often provide opportunities to win awards. This distinguishes a product as a cut above the rest and offers valuable 3rd party validation.
Establishing strong media relations will undoubtedly help exhibitors attract more attendees by getting their products covered before and during the event, while post show coverage will prolong the awareness gains of their campaigns.
Musgrove's session will be a backstage pass behind the curtain of trade show media relations and will educate exhibitors on how to best utilize opportunities for exposure.
