June 29, 2012 - PRLog -- EFiction isdiversifying its approach and opening new magazines. I am pleased to say that these magazines have found editors and are ready to be announced.

The new magazines will be eFiction Romance, eFiction Fantasy, eFiction Sci-fi, eFiction Noir, and eFiction Horror. You can probably guess which genres these magazines will be targeting.

I've given the editors of each of these magazines the freedom to set their own compensation rates, so make sure to mention it when sending in your work. It is very much a work in progress, and not all editors have included compensation details in their submission guidelines. At the very least, I will be able to compensate you directly from subscriber revenue from the first issue. We can talk more about this should your piece make it that deep into the publication process.

The first issues of each of these magazines will be coming out next month, or in two months at the very latest. That means we want your submissions now. The sooner we can get these issues out, the quicker everybody gets paid, and the authors get out into the world. I could go to print tomorrow if we had the content ready.

eFiction is a well-read online publication. Around 5,000 monthly readers with many of those subscribing through the Amazon Kindle Periodicals Program. eFiction is #1 Top Rated for Arts & Entertainment and has the following sales record:

Best Rank: 1,829
Worst Rank: 38,072
Average: 6,332

I wish to duplicate that success for each of these genre-targeted magazines. With your stories included in the new magazines, we can make that happen. The launch of these magazines is going to be a punch in the gut to traditional short story markets. I am innovating at a speed they cannot match. I know there are many innovative minds out there, and I think you guys can see my vision for this. I want writers and editors and readers to all win and feel like they are being fairly treated. It is more important to me that nobody feels ripped-off or slighted, than I make profit with these projects.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I am available to answer anything by e mial (justin@efictionmag.com) or via the contact form on eFictionMag.com/horror
