connect D aims to offer design students the opportunity to get a firsthand perspective on what it takes to succeed in the field of industrial design. The event will also highlight the challenges and opportunities for creating innovative brands of the future. For Tata Elxsi, connect D is a vital mechanism of developing and recognizing design talent in India for the design industry as a whole.
Students from renowned design schools like NID, IISC, NIFT, Raffles design, NICC and NTTF will be attending the event. The event will feature immersive sessions by Prof. Sudhakar Nadkarni – Dean of Business Design at the Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research and Mr. Neeraj Chandra – COO & VP, Brittania Industries. They will be sharing their insights and experiences on how industrial design impacts consumers’ lives and its key role to take the country ahead.
A dedicated design workshop and an exclusive preview of products executed by Tata Elxsi’s design teams are some of the other interactive sessions planned for the event. These will allow participants to interact with the senior Tata Elxsi design team members and help them understand the various nuances of creating winning designs.
