June 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Alejandro Ramirez, founder of USA Media TV, a multimedia production company based in Sioux Falls, SD had no idea that life would bring him to America’s heartland.  He knew that he wanted to make something of himself, to succeed in this new world while maintaining his Mexican identity and ties to his heritage.  The importance of hard work combined with education (both academic and real-world) has been ingrained in him since the beginning.
Can you please describe briefly your experience as a new immigrant in the US?
I faced some challenges arriving as a teenager to Berkeley, California.  I had to learn a completely new language, at a time when ESL resources were really just beginning.  I also had to attend college in this new language, and some of the gaps that I experienced in my high school education due to language difficulties I had to compensate for soon after  - once I could fully comprehend what was going on around me.
What brought you to Sioux Falls?
I was searching for a better quality of life for my family, and a city that was very oriented towards the importance of raising our children in a safe environment, not to mention good public schools.  There is also undeniable opportunity in the video/multimedia space for small businesses and the Hispanic community.
What exactly is “multimedia”?
Multimedia includes a combination of text, audio, music, still images, animation, video or interactive content forms.  Multimedia is usually recorded and played, displayed or accessed by computers, TVs, or other electronic devices.  I offer services to individuals and businesses that allow them to reach their audiences through all of those mediums, which is especially powerful!
What makes you uniquely qualified as a multimedia producer?
I am a musician at heart.  I started and managed a recording company in the early 90’s.  I then studied Network and Media Communications, and decided that there was a way to combine my passion for the audio-visual arts with technology.  I quickly became a practitioner of the video arts.  I have over 7 years’ worth of experience collaborating on multimedia projects with businesses big and small.  I have experienced the major network production process!  I appeared as a guest on Bobby Flay’s “Grill It” series in the Food Network.  I have also worked on projects for eBay and Microsoft, coordinating corporate learning and lecture series and other company events. I have professional-level audio/video equipment to meet all of my customers’ needs.
What benefits do your services deliver to the community?
I offer high-quality video/multimedia services at very competitive prices.  I also have insider insights into the Hispanic consumer, and the ability to produce fully bilingual material.
Alejandro Ramirez would love the opportunity to show you how his services & products can help your business grow!  He can also help you connect with the valuable and growing Hispanic customer base!
