June 14, 2012 - PRLog -- The Charmcity Skatepark will host the national event again for the 4th time. Charmcity always goes all out for this contest, building new obstacles and tightening things up for this annual epic battle of amateur rippers. Practice and registration start at 9:00AM. The contest gets underway at 12:30PM sharp. There are two divisions. The Junior Jam (13 and Under) and the Open Division (14 and up). It costs $15 to enter. As usual there will be lots of prizing but this year the top 3 placings in the open division all get to go to San Fransisco for the finals!

This year http://www.Infectedskateboards.com will have a table set up at the entrance of the indoor skatepark. Infected Skateboards is a new apparel and board company run by two brothers, Gabe and Julian David, who love to skate. Out of Northern Virginia, the brothers chill in Haymarket in their basement park and frequent everything within 100 miles. Their website offers boards, shirts, hats, cruisers, tagging pens, and girls apparel. They have a new board coming out that's pretty sick! and shirt designs from the younger 8 year old...Julian's "hardflip shirt".  What better way to do it than with your own board company? Their skate team features Luis Spitta, Matt Camacho, Josh Harris, Lane Rolling, Hugo Flores,  Joe Falvella & Jason Nam. You can find them on the Internet machine, facebook, twitter, youtube, shredding or rolling with the DC Wheels organization. A non-profit group of east coast skaters using the power of skateboarding to change and save lives, DC Wheels aims to make an impact by transcending socioeconomic barriers to reach those in need with the infectious elements of skateboarding. ***See the Infected tent for more**

The Charmcity Skatepark was started in September 1994 by Baltimore skateboarder Jason Chapman. The Charmcity Skatepark has strived to build the Baltimore skate scene (literally) and support skateboarding through events, demos and contests and help bring top talent and events to Baltimore. The 20,000 plus square foot facility is one of the largest on the east coast. The park is located in the Canton Trade Center industrial park in the Canton area of Baltimore (a stones throw from the historic Fells Point waterfront area) Maryland. The street address is 4401 O'donnell St. Baltimore, Maryland 21224. They can be found on the web at http://www.charmcity.tv
