GSA Awards Multi-Million Dollar Tablet Device Contract to Coast to Coast Computer Products, Inc.

June 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Simi Valley, CA, June 8, 2012 - The General Service Administration’s National Information Technology Commodity Program (NITCP) based in Atlanta, GA, announced that Coast to Coast Computer Products, Inc., a California based small business Schedule 70 IT contract holder, is one of only three contractors that have been awarded a share of the NITCP government wide contract for tablet computing devices. This blanket purchase agreement is projected to represent at least $32 million dollars of sales over the next 3 years, which will be shared by Coast to Coast and two other awardees. Attila Galamb, the Government Sales Manager of the Simi Valley, CA headquartered company, said “We are delighted that GSA has selected us to provide the latest technologies in tablet computing to the government on this vehicle. Our BPA at this time consists of Android and Windows tablets from three of our most valued OEM partners, Samsung, Lenovo and Motion Computing. In the near future we expect to add several other tablet offerings to our catalog, which will make us essentially a ‘one-stop shop’ for any type of tablet. We are offering standard, semi-rugged and fully- rugged tablets, as well as all of the essential options and accessories that any government mobile computer user could require.”

This new BPA is the latest win for Coast to Coast who, over the last three years, has been awarded contracts issued by U.S. Department of Agriculture, Defense Finance Accounting Services, U.S. Department of Labor, National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Army.

According to GSA, “The National IT Commodity Program mission is to procure IT commodities and ancillary services for customers located nationwide using innovative solutions. The program offers innovative ordering of end to end solutions for IT commodities for federal government customers nationwide.” GSA plans to award several additional government wide BPA’s for other types of commodities in the near future.
