By: Moneybags Management After being selected for the lead in the movie based on the memoir of Toni Newman’s new book, “I Rise”, winner of numerous literary awards, Miss Ross began to write songs inspired by the screenplay. "Toni’ Just as Whitney Houston was the voice of “The Bodyguard” soundtrack, Angelica will lend her signature sound to “The Heart of a Woman” soundtrack. Songs “Be Strong” and “From Where You Are” are some of the singles soon to be released. Angelica Ross is meeting with British director Keith Holland and the screenplay writers Toni Newman, Alton Demore, and George Saunders in Los Angeles this week for a listening session of new music.
