Another Coptic Christian from Egypt’s asylum application granted

May 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Since the revolution in Egypt Coptic Christians are fleeing the country in record numbers.  Copts have been persecuted in Egypt for many years but it seems since the revolution either that has increased or other countries are now paying more attention.
The number of Coptic Christians granted asylum in the US has quadrupled in the past year and the law firm Misiti Global, PLLC has helped  a good number of them with their applications.  Asylum must be applied for within 1 year of entering the country but it is not uncommon for Coptic Christians to be granted an extension of the 1 year deadline due to changed country conditions.

The nightmare was over for Misiti Global’s client they and their family were now safe in the US and had obtained their work permit.
