Chris is a Chartered Building Surveyor and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
His career began within the Construction Sector as a carpenter joiner following completion of a City & Guilds Craft & Advanced Craft Apprenticeship with Mullen & Lumsden Contractors. Chris then continued his studies up to university level, where he chose building surveying as his career choice and transferred to a Kent based surveying practice, Steve Frankham Associates, as a Trainee Surveyor.
Following completion of his Building Degree Chris had a two year spell within the Technical Services department of Swan Housing Association based in Essex, before transferring back to the private sector in 2002 when he joined The Livemore Partnership based in London’s Docklands. Whilst gaining experience, Chris continued his education until he became professionally qualified in 2004.
Chris said, “I relocated with my family to Dorset, which is a beautiful part of the world, six years ago. I continued working in the private sector for The Welling Partnership in Southampton, where I spent two years before joining Bennington Green back in 2008.”
Chris joins Ryan Greening who has also been awarded a directorship this month, bringing the total number of directors currently five.

Background
Bennington Green was established in 1992 by Damon Green.
In August 2005, the company was acquired by Nigel Soloman, a Chartered Engineer, and Keith Kirkwood, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Bennington Green Ltd was created.
Damon Green continues to provide consultancy services to the business and remains one of the leading Chartered Building Surveyors in the area.
The business now has a new dynamic approach which has helped them through the recession. Despite the economic climate, Bennington Green continues to grow with new services continually being developed to reflect the changes in the marketplace.
