The most recent recipient was Mary Williams, an educated Texas mother, struggling to find a job and support her family. Between medical bills for her sister and mother, rent, college loans for her daughter and outstanding debts, Mary was in jeopardy of being evicted from the place she has called home for nearly twelve years.
