Train One-On-One With Hornets Carl Landry & Other Select Pros At Forney High School June 4, 2012

May 16, 2012 - PRLog -- The country’s fastest growing youth basketball program will return to Forney, Texas this summer bigger and better than ever, 6’9” bigger to be exact.  Joining forces with New Orleans Hornets Forward Carl Landry and a handful of other select pros, HSBCAMPS has partnered with Forney High School just outside Dallas, to provide a world-class basketball camp experience for local youths geared towards “giving back”.  HSBCAMPS will donate a portion of the camp proceeds to various entities within the local community and make scholarships available for underprivileged kids wishing to attend the Morning Clinic and Day Camp slated for June 4 to June 6, 2012.

“We were truly embraced by the Forney community last year, and are very excited to return with a brand new curriculum and a very big addition to our amazing staff,” shared HSBCAMPS Director Carson Sofro.  “Carl is not only an outstanding athlete but shares many of our core values and traditions, and we are truly lucky to have him on board.”

The HSBCAMPS Morning Clinic and Day Camp are geared towards teaching and developing the fundamentals of basketball for boys and girls in elementary, middle and high school grades. The Morning Clinic is open to youth in grades one through three. The Day Camp is open to youth in grades four through 12. From team competitions to individual contests, players will participate in fun, instructional work under the direction of the HSBCAMPS staff, comprised of collegiate and professional coaches and players.

HSBCAMPS prides itself as a youth basketball program that “gives back”, donating a portion of every programs proceeds to schools and non-profits within each of the communities they serve.  With more than $100,000 raised to date, HSBCAMPS stands firm in its commitment to provide every child, regardless of age or income, with an opportunity to attend.
