Hats off and On for Mom at the MoMMA-THON for Mother's Day, May 13th

May 8, 2012 - PRLog -- – Senior Comedy Afternoons will be tipping their hats to Moms on Mother’s Day by encouraging everyone to wear their most outlandish, most beautiful, most glorious chapeaus for this fun and fabulous show!
A MoMMA-Thon! What’s that you say..? It’s a show that will be all about Mom’s, Mama’s, Mother’s, Mummies, Mommies, Grandma’s, anyway you say it our comediennes will all be talking about motherhood, their moms, and mothering journeys and growing up and older! Along with that… they’ll be music about moms, quotes regarding moms, and many more surprises in addition to our regular Birthday Celebrations and a great afternoon that includes a 4- course lunch.

Our show features 4 comediennes who are also mothers and grandmothers!
Comedienne Monica Piper our MC & Emmy Award-Winning Comedy Writer and Stand Up Comic who has written for Rosanne, Mad About You, and Veronica’s Closet will be joining us along with Cindy Burns, our Anti-Aging Mom who has performed on “The Tonight Show” been on “Oprah” and produces and performs with “O.C’S Funniest Housewives”, alongside comedienne Julie Kidd, our “Dysfunctional Mom” and the author of “Mamalogue”, who has also been seen on “The View” and been written up in “Good Housekeeping”. Karen Robertson our “Motivating Mom” is a retired teacher and success coach in addition to her life as a stand-up comic and the author of “Raising Kids Right!”. These women are funny and smart! They’ll hold nothing back!

The show will take place at Tapas Restaurant, Flavors of Spain, Restaurant and Nightclub in Newport Beach.  The cost for the afternoon is an all- inclusive price of $45@ for lunch, show, tax and tip!
