U.S. Commerce Association Honors the Achievement
NEW YORK, NY, May 2, 2012 -- Timberline Adventures has been selected for the 2012 Denver Award in the Bicycle Tours category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

Timberline Adventures is celebrating our 30th year.  The company is a leader in active vacations.  The company offers hiking and cycling adventure vacations across North America.  The program for 2012 is a diverse collection of cycling and hiking adventures.

This year Timberline offers a weeklong companion program to the Pro Cycling Challenge in Colorado.   The tour will spend a piece of each day as spectators at all of the seven planned stages, but also devote a significant part of everyday to cycling in the Rockies.  Also new this year is a tour of the historic Natchez Trace.

These new programs add to the 45 cycling tours offered across North America.  The programs range from breath taking rides down the California coast to tours ending in Washington D. C. via the Great Alleghany Passage.

The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2012 USCA Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.
