VP of Mortgage Lending at Texas Trust CU Ranks Highly in Independent Consumer Satisfaction Survey

April 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Texas Trust Credit Union's vice president of mortgage lending, Richard Whitman, has received the 2012 Five Star Mortgage Professional Award. Whitman is one of 189 professionals out of 15,700 in north Texas to receive the award, which  recognizes mortgage professionals based upon overall consumer satisfaction.

With more than 20 years of mortgage experience, Whitman leads a Texas Trust team dedicated to creating happy homeowners with a service driven, member-focused approach to meeting their home loan needs.

Less than two percent of all licensed mortgage professionals in the 32-county greater Dallas-Fort Worth market qualified for the Five Star Award based on the research methodology used.

This year's award winners were selected based on an independent survey of more than 126,000 area buyers of homes worth $150,000 or more between June 2008 and June 2011. Additional surveys were submitted to title and mortgage servicing companies. The survey asked respondents to evaluate the mortgage professionals that served them, based on overall satisfaction and whether they would highly recommend the professional to a friend. Award recipients were also required to have an active license through the Texas state regulating body and no record of disciplinary action. A panel of local industry experts determined the final results.
