April 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Country artist Sandra Piller has recorded a new version of "Love Me Two Times," a song that was a hit for rock group The Doors.

The song originally appeared on the 1967 album, "Strange Days," and was written by all four members of The Doors, Jim Morrison, Robby Krieger, Ray Manzarek, and John Densmore. Piller's version joins other recordings of the song by Aerosmith, Joan Jett, and George Winston.

While Piller's label, Shady Hill Records, originally had no thought of doing a video to accompany the new recording of the tune, that did not stop her fan club from making one. Piller's fans, known as The Wild Bunch, created the video and it is now available on YouTube as well as on Piller's musician/band page on Facebook.

Since lyrics of the song make it very clear that the singer must soon be "going away," the video features numerous sequences of travel, including via planes, trains, buses, taxis, trucks, and even walking. The story of the song does not specify the reason for leaving, although members of The Doors said the song was about a soldier or sailor with his girlfriend on his last day before leaving to go overseas to war.

This is the fourth fan-produced video for Piller, and joins two official videos for songs from her most recent album, "Days Like These." The song and her albums are now available on iTunes and the Shady Hill Records site (www.shadyhillrecords.com).
