Sponsored by Hollywood Helpers, a West Hollywood charity, famous stars are coming out of the woodwork to help put an end to domestic violence in America once and for all. The idea was conceived by Hollywood producer – actor – writer – director Prince Maryland (The X-Files) who found himself in trouble after an unexpected brush with the disease. “My program addresses men [the root participant in most circumstances] Hailed by Congressional leaders as “magnificent” Together the two enlisted aid from a mutual list of Hollywood personnel like Tom Arnold, John Savage, Christian Bale, Scarlet Johansson, Michael Douglas and more. “The response is overwhelming,” In order to raise funds for time out/counseling facilities for men, Hollywood Helpers is sponsoring a summer long Happy Hour Series in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. Each week, for $25, patrons can enjoy terrific happy hour drinks and snacks along with photo-ops and autographs from their favorite stars. “Our Casting Director [Valerie McCaffrey] has been wonderful,” exclaims Maryland. We have stars many of us grew up with, coming forward for this terrific cause. When Hollywood puts its mind to it, we have tremendous social impact.” The series begins in July, continuing through September.
