Bank Independent Launches Triple Play in Mobile Banking

Bank Independent will provide an on-the-go banking experience for customers with the launch of its free mobile banking and mobile app.

April 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Sheffield, Ala. – Monday, April 16, 2012 – Bank Independent will provide an on-the-go banking experience for customers with the launch of its free mobile banking and mobile app. Bank Independent is the first community bank in north Alabama with three mobile options, allowing customers the ability to access their information through online banking, text or mobile app.

Launching April 15, Bank Independent mobile banking will offer three different mobile options for added convenience, providing quick and easy access to check your balance, transfer funds or pay bills on-the-go. Mobile banking also works for any mobile device—iPhone, Android or Blackberry.  

“Whenever and wherever our customers are, our mobile banking will be there for our customers,” shares Bank Independent President Macke Mauldin. “It’s all about convenience and service for them, and this was just another way to provide them 24-hour access to us at the tip of their fingers.”

Mobile banking is another way to make life just a little bit easier for Bank Independent customers. Macke understands that his customers are constantly on-the-go and wants to make sure there is a mobile option for everyone. Even customers without smart phones can still receive account updates through text or handle all their banking quickly and easily online.

“All of our customers can benefit from mobile banking,” Macke explains. “If it helps our customers and makes banking a little easier for them, then we’ve done our job as their bank.”
