Dr. Maurice Lee Named New Editor-In-Chief of Young Brotha Magazine

April 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Nebo Publishing is pleased to announce that Dr. Maurice Lee is joining the organization as the new Editor-In-Chief of Young Brotha Magazine.

"It is my belief that Dr. Lee will take Young Brotha Magazine to the next level," says Charles Clark, President of Nebo Publishing and Editorial Director of Young Brotha. "Using his own experiences as a backdrop, I know he will be able to reach the heart and minds of those who read the publication." Young Brotha Magazine specifically targets the African American male committed to a Christian lifestyle. Young Brotha magazine is intended as an empowerment tool to comprehensively address, without restrictions, complex issues providing resources to resolve any of life challenges.

Dr. Maurice Lee has accomplished a great deal in his life and been respected as an individual who strives to make a difference in the lives of others. He has been recognized for his work with the youth in his community, and Essence Magazine named him one of their 2008 Do Right Men. Do Right Men are young, single black men given accolades for doing their part to make a difference in our communities. In 2011 he published the book LIFE EXPERIENCES.

Lee's philosophy for success is this: "It is up to us as individuals to tap into our inner being to search for our purpose in life." He has overcome peer pressure, a depressing health ailment, and a defining moment from a suicide attempt to become a prominent figure in his community, and believes that readers of Young Brotha Magazine can enjoy similar results with hard work, dedication and faith.
