By: MemoryBanc To date, the following local independent and assisted living communities are participating: • Emeritus of Arlington • Monroe House • Kendrick Courts • Sugarland Hill Senior Apartments • Hunters Woods Fellowship House • Sunrise of Reston Town Center • Tall Oaks at Reston • Lake Anne Fellowship House • Sunrise at Countryside • Sommerset Retirement Community • Harbor House Toni Reinhart, the Owner and President of Comfort Keepers and the host of this event shared “No matter what your age, the sense of community, competition and challenge are part of the Senior Spell-Off and we hope this program will deliver that to many of the seniors participating in this event.” In addition to the competition and prize ceremony, the event will include refreshments, as well as information from a variety of local businesses that are supporting the senior community in northern Virginia. The event is free and open to the public. A portion of the proceeds from sponsorships will benefit Stockings for Seniors, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to providing Christmas presents to seniors in need.
