"Career Day:" KM Ware partners with Odessa National Polytechnic University, Ukraine

April 2, 2012 - PRLog -- In March 2012, KM Ware Solutions partnered with Odessa National Polytechnic University for a school-wide “Career Day” focused on providing students with a comprehensive company overview of KM Ware, the software development industry, and potential graduate opportunities within the field.
The presentation was headed by one of KM Ware’s lead developers and covered areas such as, the orientation of the hardware market to mobile devices, mass integration of information technology into human activity, as well as numerous other related topics. “The point of this exercise was to offer the students a flexible scheme for professional development and self-realization,” explained the KM Ware team. The floor was then opened up for the students to ask questions about KM Ware as a company or any other queries they may have about the IT industry as a whole.
This was the first event of its kind for KM Ware, however plans to expand the program to other Ukrainian universities is on the horizon. “We hope to provide mentoring and future opportunities for qualified students. Many of the developers at KM Ware were previous students of Odessa National Polytechnic University, so we want to give back where we can, and promote career direction and focus among youth,” stated Radim Chorba, Project Manager of the Odessa Software Development Center.
