Office Accelerator Version 15 Announced

After a tremendous amount of work and development, version 15 x 64 has arrived in internal beta on Windows 8 Consumer Preview.  Version 15, slated for release in 2012 will bring to the desktop the first full 64 bit version of Office Accelerator.  While retaining its user friendly design, Office Accelerator version 15 will include a variety of customer requested features as well as some new and welcome design enhancements.  Ralph Brackert, Ph.D. and CEO had the following to say “We’ve listened to our customer’s suggestions and requests, and we have worked hard to bring to the desktop a new version of our flagship product Office Accelerator.  This new version will include many customer suggestions and requests as well as a few welcome surprises.   Get ready folks, we’ve got a new version on the horizon!”

Support for Older Microsoft Operating Systems
Office Accelerator 15 supports all current Microsoft operating systems from Windows XP up, also in 64-bit version. This gives our current customers the flexibility of running Office Accelerator 15 while they wait to upgrade their current Windows environment.  Also Office Accelerator can be run on different operating systems on the same cloud or local network.

Support for Windows 8
Windows 8 is not yet on the market, but it is already in sight. Based on the currently available Developer Preview from Microsoft, Office Accelerator developers have already prepared Office Accelerator Version 15 for Windows 8. Full support is therefore available as soon as Microsoft releases the new operating system.

Support for Emerging Wireless Tablet and Smart Phone Technologies
Office Version 15 was designed with the emerging Smart Phone and Tablets technologies in mind.  The upgrade was designed for maximum efficiency when adding functionality for the smart phone and tablet markets.  Baseline Data Systems is working hard on giving customers access to their data from not only their desktop, but from all of their mobile devices.  A direct Wireless BlackBerry Sync will be available immediately, while support for the Apple IOS operating systems and Android OS will soon follow.
