Fine Art Photography of Richly Colored Koi Represent Today’s Business Values

March 26, 2012 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO, CA – San Diego’s Finest Artists Show on April 19, 2012 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm  at Smart Space Gallery 4455 Murphy Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92123  The Smart Space Gallery, located in the Murphy Canyon Drive business district, will host a reception to display the work of award winning fine art and landscape photographer Andrew J. Szikla.  Mr. Szikla’s most recent body of work “Nishikigoi - Japan's Living Jewels,” provides office designers and architects with a breathtaking collection of intensely colored, mesmerizing images of Koi fish representing potent symbols of successful business attributes.  

Koi have been around for over 2500 years, plenty of time to build up a reputation.  Besides their universal appeal as symbols of the beauty and the abundance of the natural world, Japanese Koi fish are thought to move smoothly and swiftly, able to leap barriers and obstacles.  They symbolize power and perseverance in adversity, strength of purpose and determination.  Many say they represent good

fortune or luck...the larger the Koi, the richer you are.  For those reasons, business office designers appreciate the imagery and find Szikla’s “Nishikigoi - Japan's Living Jewels,” an interesting compliment to today’s popular Asian design influence.   Originally from Buenas Aires, Argentina, Mr. Szikla’s work represents a uniquely modern approach to this popular subject.  The intricate and colorful patterns with graceful and powerful movements have made koi fish art subjects meaningful in a business environment.  

The show will take place at 5:30 pm on Thursday, April 19 at the SmartSpace Gallery, where business and art come together, located at 4455 Murphy Canyon Road, Ste 100 in the heart of the Murphy Canyon business district.  Catered hordourves will be provided along with soulful music by BrandeeLynn.
