The broadcast will also feature sound clips representative of Ms. Battle's rich body of work. "I can't even put into words what this show means to me. I discovered Ms. Battle's voice in the discovery stages of my own artistic existence and never have been the same." said McCoy.
Born in Portsmouth, Ohio in 1948, Kathleen Battle's soaring voice has taken her to the greatest concert stages and concert halls of the world.
