Rodger Delany - "Moment of Truth" CD Release

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 21, 2012 - Rodger Delany releases his all-acoustic CD called “Moment of Truth” on May 12, 2012. Recorded by Rich King at Philly Sound Studios, Moment of Truth includes sixteen songs performed with a vocal and simple acoustic guitar or piano. Highlights include the title track Moment of Truth, Blind and Mischief.  Although characterized as a solo effort, Moment of the Truth features Patrick Keating, drummer of The Better Half, on acoustic guitar, drums and percussion on several tracks.

Rodger Delany presents Moment of Truth at an all-ages show on Saturday, May 12, at World Café Live at The Queen Theater in Wilmington, DE.  Hosted by Mark Rogers of WSTW 93.7 Hometown Heroes, the show starts at 6pm and includes performances by Rodger Delany, The Better Half, Electric Blue Concept, Stallions and Half Past Seven.

Rodger Delany is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from Maple Shade, NJ.  He is described as "Father, friend, recovering electric guitarist..." And, his music "Crosses genres from rock to folk and Americana..."  Rodger Delany was lead guitarist and secondary singer/songwriter for Mother Redcap who released two full rock CD’s – All This Nothing (2009) and Up to Now… (2000).  

Rodger Delany received nominations for Song of the Year for each of the last two consecutive years on WSTW 93.7 FM Hometown Heroes.  Nominations include:  Mischief (2011) recorded live at the Tin Angel and Ever After (2010) from Mother Redcap’s All This Nothing CD.
