Grand Prix Race Team Partners With Meetings Afloat!

March 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Alex Jones Racing, a British auto racing team, and MEETINGS AFLOAT! Executive Yacht Charters of Redington Beach, Florida, have announced a co-marketing agreement to promote a sponsorship package for the team during the 2012 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.
   Alex Jones Racing is led by professional race car driver Alex Jones.  Jones is a 23-year old from North Wales in the United Kingdom who has competed on the British and European race car circuits for the past eight years.  He is considered to be a rising star on the international motorsports scene.  The team is competing in the Firestone Indy Lights race during the Grand Prix event in St. Petersburg.  
The Indy Lights Series is a developmental program for emerging IndyCar drivers and their teams, giving them valuable racing experience and marketing support.  The teams compete in single-seat, open cockpit, open wheel custom racing cars that can exceed 180 miles per hour.  AJR is associated with the Race 2 Energy Independence (R2Ei), an educational and branding program to inform race fans about the technologies and platforms for developing and promoting sustainable energy resources used in IndyCar racing programs.
   MEETINGS AFLOAT! Executive Yacht Charters specializes in providing luxury yacht-based venues for business meetings, hospitality events, trade show support and personal occasions.  The company’s primary charter yacht is the Motor Yacht “Dolce Vita,” a 45-foot CHB flybridge sedan trawler, based on the waters of Tampa Bay.  The company also acts as a booking agent for numerous other luxury yachts in a variety of other U.S. cities including San Diego, Long Beach/Los Angeles, Baltimore/Annapolis (Maryland) and New York City.

•   Joint press release w/sponsor announcing alliance with Alex Jones Racing
•   Product endorsement(s) by Alex Jones & team
•   A number of other potential marketing and promotional opportunities, as jointly determined by the sponsor and Alex Jones Racing
