Needham, MA Median Home Price Plunges on Seven Sales in January 2012

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 21, 2012 - The median price and sales of single-family homes in Needham, Massachusetts dropped in January 2012, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer agent real estate brokerage.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

Single-family homes prices fell 25.9 percent in January 2012 compared to the previous year, a difference of $204,500.  Single-family home sales in Needham, MA fell 30 percent in January 2012, a difference of three sales compared to January 2011.  

In January 2012, the median price of condominiums decreased 52.1 percent, or $307,000 compared to January 2011.  Condo sales fell 33 percent in January 2012, a difference of just one sale.

There was one multi-family home sold in January 2012 in Needham, up from zero sales in the previous month of January.
