After four years of hibernation, the daring initiative known as Carbon Belch Day is being re-launched around the world – just in time for conservative activists to demonstrate their contempt for groups like “Earth Hour” and similar organizations manufacturing theories of man-made global warming and the dangers of the “carbon footprint”.
“You would think after the initial launch of Carbon Belch Day four years ago that this ‘energy is bad’ movement would be on its last breath by now,” said Ron Kemp, Carbon Belch Day President. “Every day, science continues to refute the stated claim that man and progress are killing the planet, yet the liberal elite still promote their agenda through such ridiculous ideas as forcing Americans to abandon their light bulbs and compelling us to turn out our lights for an hour on March 31st in solidarity with Mother Nature.”
Carbon Belch Day has been re-launched to coincide with the March 31 commemoration of Earth Hour.  The Challenge for Carbon Belch supporters is simple: on March 31, do something out of the ordinary to increase your carbon footprint for the day, thus emitting a world-wide carbon “belch” to offset the actions of the Earth Hour loons.  It’s the exact opposite of the politically motivated “carbon offset.” Drive around the block an extra time. Take your kids to the park. Declare your home or office an “Earth Hour Free Zone” by leaving your lights ON. Why, you can even leave that closet light on your parents always scolded you about.  
If you are one of those who doesn’t warm up to Al Gore’s statement that “those who still doubt that global warming is caused by man are acting like the fringe groups who think the 1969 moon landing never really happened, or who once believed that the world is flat,” then Carbon Belch Day is for you.
Carbon Belch Day is all about being creative.   Join the NEW worldwide community that has the backbone to declare, “The emperor has no clothes!”, and pledge to keep your lights on this March 31.  If you’re like us, then you believe that Mother Nature is a big girl.  She can handle it.
