MOVING STORY FROM EVENTY!

A Cornish marketing company has relocated and expanded its team, due to an increase in its client base.

Eventy – Marketing & PR has moved from Carrick Business Centre, to Seaways House in Penryn, resulting in an independent office for the company, as well as an increase in space.

This room to grow has been vital to the recruitment of Rachael Stephens who now joins the team as “Sponsorship & PR Co-ordinator”.

Helen Mulhern, Managing Director of Eventy – Marketing & PR said:
“We have had an exciting start to the year, moving into our new and improved offices near Falmouth and bringing Rachael into the company.”

Helen continued, “The past few months have been our busiest and we are looking forward to the next twelve months.  We have found that our client base has increased as Cornish companies look to invest in their marketing spend, taking advantage of the opportunity to gain more of their market share”.

With a wide client base taking in professional services, tourism and leisure across the county, the move to Seaways House, on Commercial Road in Penryn, has resulted in a more inviting and professional environment for Eventy who have taken tenancy over second and third floors of the building.

Now Rachael Stephens is in place, work is underway on initiatives such as raising funds for the Fal River Festival, Fal River Autumn Walking Festival and Carn to Cove.

Rachael, who is aged 23 and lives in Tresillian, joins Eventy from her voluntary role at BF Adventure where she was “Voluntary & Marketing Assistant” as well as an “Outdoor Instructor / Youth Worker”. She helped co-ordinate a number of their events such as their ‘Quarryathon 2011’ as well a number of sponsorship campaigns.    

Rachael said:
‘‘I am very excited to have an opportunity to work with Eventy – Marketing & PR and look forward to planning the year ahead.  We have already secured a title sponsor for this year’s Fal River Festival which we will announce shortly and have just a few Day Sponsor opportunities left – so great progress!’’

Eventy has been working for local businesses and charities in Cornwall since relocating to Cornwall three years ago, following five years in Bath.
