Gregg Inhofer Performing with Eric Kamau Gravatt in Saint Paul

Thursday, February 2, Gregg Inhofer & the Cockeyed Band, w/Steve Sullivan and the Factory (acoustic) performing live at Black Dog Coffee & Wine Bar in St. Paul, MN.

Jan. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Singer/songwriter Gregg Inhofer, known for his work with Bob Dylan, will perform songs from his latest album Music for the Upright Walking.

Concertgoers can expect a jazzy mix of original pop & rock songs. As well as some cover tunes, like Gregg's guitar-free (!) version of Manic Depression by Jimi Hendrix.

Inhofer's band features jazz drummer extraordinaire Eric Kamau Gravatt. Gravatt is known for his one-of-a-kind, explosive style, which had Miles Davis and Wayne Shorter fighting over whom he would play with (it ended up being Shorter, as Eric joined Weather Report). In recent years he had been touring with McCoy Tyner.

Doors open at 7 PM. And Music will start with an acoustic set by Steve Sullivan and the Factory.

Tickets include a live recording of the concert and are available here: http://gregginhofer.com/events/item/gregg-inhofer-the-cockeyed-band-black-dog-coffe-st-paul-mn
