Jan. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- (Los Angeles, CA) – Veteran actress Alexis Kiley is actively going after the role of Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime’s upcoming project “Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story”.

With a strong acting background spanning from stage to screen, Kiley is perhaps most known for her appearance as a young Elizabeth Taylor in 2003’s TV movie “The Celebrity Look-Alike Show”, aired on ABC. Prior to this, she starred in Paris Barclay’s “The Big Time” in 2002, alongside notable names like Christopher Lloyd, Christina Hendricks, and Jane Lynch.

Most recently Kiley garnered the lead role of Angela in “Good Intentions”, official selection entry in the 48 Hr Film Festival 2011 in Los Angeles, as well as numerous stage performances, including Lady Melksham in the award winning play “Go Back For Murder”.

The role has spun controversy as producer Larry Thompson has also tapped A-listers Lindsay Lohan and Megan Fox for Ms. Taylor’s portrayal.  Reportedly Fox denied claims to the role, while Lohan maintains a strong interest in representing the glamorous starlet.

Alexis Kiley is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the Actor’s Equity Association. An alumnus of acclaimed Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in Los Angeles, she received private coaching from Golden Globe winner Sally Kirkland. Kiley currently resides in Beverly Hills, CA.
