Jan. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Marsha Ambrosius Covers Heed Magazine’s Winter 2012 Issue
Plus Hill Harper, Occupy Wall Street, Darrin Dewitt Henson, and more…

After a media frenzy with the Fall 2011 release of HEED Magazine with BET’s Reed Between The Lines male-lead, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, it was time to release something soft and sensual. The Winter 2012 Issue of HEED has the beautiful Marsha Ambrosius gracing the cover. She is “Reknown, Reinvented & Revealed” in her cover feature as she discusses her transition into a solo artist since her departure from the Platinum selling group “Floetry” and why the comfort of just singing was enough for her. The issue will be released Friday, January 13, 2012 nationally through Magcloud at http://www.heedmag.magcloud.com. The international release will occur Wednesday, January 18, 2012 through Zinio.com. Digital and print copies are available.

About The Winter Issue:
This issue includes “A Conversation with Hill Harper,” which gives readers an in-depth look into his upcoming literary release, “The Wealth Cure”. In the interview, Hill Harper acknowledges that, in the entertainment business, aesthetically your “look” is part of your job description, and that investing in his personal health is part of his brand. Occupying Wall Street and the world as Heed covers the fury of New York City that began on September 17, 2011 in an photo-editorial entitled, “Occupied Space.” Throughout the years Darrin D. Henson, who is most memorable from his role as “Lem” on Showtime Network’s Soul Food series, also a dancer/choreographer and author, shares how he has been able to keep his down-to-earth life and still live the Hollywood dream without the harassing “fame” lifestyle, in the article entitled, “Paying It Forward.” More features include, Maimouna Youssef – a singer/songwriter out of Baltimore who has put a spiritual spin into her music; Multi-platinum award-winning Afro-soul artist LIRA, “The King and Queen of House Music” Kenny Bobien & Barbara Tucker and new artists Malik, Krista, B. Reith and plenty more.
