U.S. Rep. Silvestre Reyes was the keynote speaker at the event and praised the state-of-art facility, Fort Bliss and America’s military force. Maj. Gen. John F. Nichols, Texas adjutant general, also noted that the facility’s location is ideal for keeping America safe. CF Jordan received the award for going above and beyond the normal expectations in a partnership between a construction company and owner. CF Jordan completed the AFRC Joint Maintenance Facility on time and within budget while facing on-the-job challenges. Gary Mullen, planning and programming branch chief with the adjutant general’s department, presented CF Jordan executive vice president Mike Miller and project manager Victor Dominguez with a plaque at the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Jan. 7.
