Discussions will include a variety of issues involving education, community, peers and health. Together, the organization hopes to achieve a mutual understanding of challenges girls face every day and ways in which the organization can sphere positive development that leads to healthier lives. “It’s very important that young people are involved with the groundwork of program development for any nonprofit organization to be successful. If we are not delivering programs and services that embrace involvement and change, we’ve failed our girls,” says Ulivia Gilbert, Executive Director.
Free membership, lunch and participation rewards will be provided. The roundtable discussion will take place February 25, 2012 from 2:00pm – 4:30pm at Resource Center Dallas, 2701 Reagan St., Dallas, TX 75219. Registration is required at no cost and available online by visiting http://www.pinkplanets.org/
