Jan. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Bestselling, award-winning authors Gary Braver, Thomas H. Cook, William Martin, and Jane Ward will discuss their books and the art of writing in a panel forum, followed by fireside one-on-one chats, a mystery book grab and more than a few auction surprises.  All proceeds will benefit Haven From Hunger’s Capital Campaign.

Haven From Hunger is a large-scale community food pantry and soup kitchen serving three towns on the north shore of Massachusetts.

Currently the organization rents space in downtown Peabody and is open four days a week for grocery pickup and hot meal service. Executive Director Alyse Barbash recognizes the need for more service within the community and hopes to raise money to purchase or build a permanent facility where Haven From Hunger may expand their hours, food supply, and programming.

Barbash’s fundraising efforts kick off on Saturday, February 4, when four popular authors gather to participate in A Night with the Authors: A Capital Campaign Fundraiser for Haven From Hunger.

A Night with the Authors begins at 7 pm on February 4 at CoCo Key Hotel and Water Resort (formerly Crown Plaza) at 50 Ferncroft Road in Danvers.  Ticket prices start at $50 per individual, and interested people can contact Haven From Hunger at 978-531-1530 to purchase.
