Scottsdale Company Creates Smartphone App To Bring Cities Together On New Years Eve.

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 31, 2011 - Scottsdale, Arizona – Scottsdale based Logixology, just released their newest app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. The Free application called myLightup is poised to make a buzz internationally with downloads in the United States, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, Saudi Arabia, India to name a few and there is still hours left before New Years eve.

Logixology President, Ali Abid Husain said “This is going to be a fun and competitive New Years Eve. We wrote this app as a way to get cities and countries to come together for some fun competition”.

New Years Eve was chosen as the first lightup because it is the only event that crosses all cultural and religious boundaries. Plans are in place to include lightups in the future for holidays like Chinese New Year and even sporting events like the upcoming Superbowl. Logixology is also exploring the possibility of including the 2012 Elections.

There are plans in the future to build this same app for Blackberry, Android, and Windows Mobile.
