By: Jennifer Burke “Last year, our dealership became involved with the holiday food drive,” said Jim Langway, owner of Langway Ford. “And, I felt strongly that we needed to participate again this year. I stopped by our local Price Chopper and loaded an F-150 with a variety of goods that we later delivered to the food bank. The bed of the truck was completely full.” Since incorporating in 1982, the Worcester County Food Bank has collected and distributed more than 50 million pounds of food and grocery products through a network of local shelters, food pantries, senior centers, residential rehabilitation programs, soup kitchens, after-school programs and neighborhood centers that help feed hungry people of all ages in 60 communities in Central Massachusetts. “I’m very proud of the contribution our dealership made and know it will help feed many people in need in the area,” added Langway. “This is a difficult time of year for many and I hope our efforts will make the season a little brighter for our community.” About Ford Motor Company Ford Motor Company, a global automotive industry leader based in Dearborn, Mich., manufactures or distributes automobiles across six continents.
