The innovative technology is being piloted by the Lancs firm and is due to be rolled out in the near future.

It will allow products to be visualised on the phone systems screen around the clock as managers can input data to the handsets via front-of-house software.

These can be monitored by reception staff and changed to suit whatever deal the hotel want to push.

The Samsung OfficeServ phone systems are leading the way in revolutionising how add-ons are being sold.

Some chains prefer to use the more traditional avenues of selling, through TV screens but these phone systems will be on offer twenty four seven.

Tony Raynor, founder and managing director of holding company Abbey Telecom, said: “This will become the only method of marketing commodities and will change the face of how deals are advertised.
