Corven Consulting appoints a new Director of its Procurement and Supply Chain practice

Dec. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Nick has come to Corven with over 20 years of operational and advisory experience in procurement and supply chain, from senior executive roles at organisations such as NatWest/RBS, Fujistu and Morrisons both in Europe and USA, to consulting practice leadership roles at Accenture, Capgemini, PwC and Logica. He has worked across a broad spectrum of sectors but has particular expertise in Financial Services, Utilities, and Manufacturing with clients such as Barclays, Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC, Citibank, RBS, Diageo and British Gas.

Nick’s focus at Corven will be in the design and delivery of major transformation programs across the whole of the supply chain. Projects will include leading strategic sourcing programs to deliver considerable cost reduction benefits, designing and delivering new procurement and supply chain strategies and capability and leadership and development programs for complex global organisations. He will also focus on working with procurement and supply chain teams to improve their commercial effectiveness within their organisation - helping them to be more integrated with the business units and therefore being able to fulfil a broader commercial role across their company. Utilising his blend of corporate and consulting experience these programmes will deliver significant value to the bottom line while ensuring they are sustainable within client businesses.
