Poricy Park Conservancy 8th Annual Trail Run Winners

Poricy Park Conservancy located in Middletown, NJ, held its 8th Annual Trail Run/Walk on Saturday, December 3, 2011, in cooperation with the Jersey Shore Running Club, announces race winners.

Dec. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- The first place winners for the different races were:

      5K:   Tom McDonald of Fair Lawn, NJ, First Place Male, 21:52.0
         Laura Santoski of Forest Hills, NY, First Place Female, 22:08.4

      5Mile:   Ryan Denver of Shrewsbury, First Place Male, 28:46.0
         Susan Patla of Matawan, NJ, First Place Female, 40:59.0

This year’s race resulted in a record turnout number of racers from New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The racers enjoyed the beautiful weather and the challenge of the course.

Poricy Park Conservancy is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization located in Middletown Township. With exceptional ecological resources, the 250 acre historical and nature site makes it one of the largest nature preserves in Monmouth County. The Park offers recreational activities such as magnificent wooded hiking trails, bird watching, pristine pond settings, fishing, and a one-of-a-kind 70 million year-old Cretaceous fossil bed.
