Dec. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Graham Hobbs has now moved into his new apartment at Crest Nicholson’s Harbourside development and is making the most of his over-sized balcony which not only takes in views of some of Bristol’s famous landmarks but benefits from plenty of sunlight.

Having previously lived at The Quays on Cumberland Road Graham now enjoys looking out on to Cabot Tower, the ss Great Britain, The Matthew and the famous docks.

He said: “I moved to The Quays in 2003 when there was nothing built on the other side of the water. Since retiring it has become more important for me to enjoy my views and I really wanted to make the most of the sun we get.

“The north-facing views at my old home were no longer ideal so I decided to start looking around. I viewed some houses but this meant moving away from the city centre and I also looked at some flats in Clifton but they weren’t as airy and sunlit as I’d hoped for.

“Coming to Harbourside I found exactly what I was looking for. The views are the best I’ve ever had and every window in my home faces the water. Sunlight fills the rooms all day which is just lovely. The size of the balcony is unbelievable and I’m looking forward to spending many a night out there in the summer!

“As soon as I saw the apartment I loved it; the light and airy feel is perfect and because it’s brand new all I needed to do was move all my furniture in.”

With only four properties left at the development house hunters looking for premier homes on the waterfront are being urged to act quickly in order to secure a deal.

Harbourside sales and marketing director Susan Young said: “It’s great that Graham has found what he was looking for on this side of the water. It is not hard to see what made Graham and many others fall in love with the development, with its central location, stunning views and high-quality finish.

“And because it is south facing the properties here are flooded with natural light.

“Many downsizers, investors and first-time buyers have bought at Harbourside and now we are down to our last few apartments on The Crescent. I would urge anyone interested to come and take a look around sooner rather than later and you never know you could be in your new home before Christmas.”

Located in the heart of Bristol’s City Centre, Harbourside benefits from shops, restaurants, bars and local amenities right on its doorstep. It is also perfect for accessing the motorway and Temple Meads Station and the water taxi makes it a breeze to commute to work and navigate the city.
