Evan Guthrie Law Firm Participates In Color Of Justice Program In Orangeburg

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 30, 2011 - Attorney Evan Guthrie of the Evan Guthrie Law Firm in Charleston, South Carolina participated in the Color of Justice Program held in the auditorium on the campus of Claflin University on Saturday October 22th, 2011 in Orangeburg, SC.  The Color of Justice Program allows interested high school and college students an opportunity to meet judges, practicing attorneys, law students, and law school faculty whom are helping to exact changes that will have far reaching effects on all of our lives. Participating students will have the opportunity to gain information about legal careers and the law from the lectures and discussions with panelists. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions, meet the panelists, and gain valuable information about the legal profession and the role of lawyers in society. Attorney Evan Guthrie helped set up for the event and checked in speakers and presenters and participating students.

Mr. Guthrie also participated in the Exposure to the Bench and Bar portion of the event where he spoke to the students about being a lawyer and answered questions from the students about his legal experiences. Attorney Evan Guthrie gave advice about what steps the students could take while they were still in high school to become an attorney. The students enjoyed the event and had all of their questions answered and they seemed excited about the legal profession and their potential future in it. Attorney Guthrie enjoyed being able to give back to students and being able to share his knowledge and experiences.
