SCardwell Productions announces new partnership with non-profit organization, "Be Someone"

Nov. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- SCardwell Productions (SCP) has earned a reputation as a one-stop entertainment epi-center, where clients seeking various forms of talent in the areas of visual arts, motivational speaking, spoken word, comedians, actors and musical talent (bands, vocalists, DJ's and instrumentalists) from every genre can fulfill their needs from one contact. As its community initiative, principal and recording artist, Samantha Cardwell sought to connect with a non-profit organization that exemplifies the value of inspiration through the discovery and enhancement of God-given talent in our youth. Ms. Cardwell began to search for organizations and community connections that would not only provide the talent pool she needed, but would also provide the patrons and benefactors of such an awesome outpouring of creative flow. Essentially, following the SCardwell Productions vision, Notes of Inspiration would be the crossroads between creative entertainment and the unique transfer of knowledge about new facets and ways to inspire others to join forces to enhance the creative arts community.
That is where two paths converged: The non-profit crime prevention program "Be Someone®" shared the same sentiment--that as a diverse community we could teach certain skills and inspire our youth to realize their full potential. The mission statement of "Be Someone" is to build character, hope and inspiration among disadvantaged youth and individuals, allowing them to set and achieve lifetime goals, realize their full potential and "Be Someone”. Be Someone was founded in 2001, after award-winning author and motivational speaker Orrin C. Hudson learned of an incident where seven Wendy's employees were shot, five killed for a mere $2,400. From that time, Hudson, a chess champion himself, began to share his knowledge and passion for his gifting in that area with others, particularly at-risk youth. Today, Be Someone has trained over 50,000 youth in the game of chess as a unique crime-prevention tool and inspiration to reach higher heights. The partnership of the two organizations will now prove to provide even more outlets for our youth to "Be Inspired" to "Be Someone".
