McCoy will present a recital of Christmas Music on Sunday, December 11, 4:00 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church

Scott "It is always a wonderful feeling to come back home, especially to share in a special program of music at Covenant, where I served as Director of Music and Organist for six years. That was a very special time and many beautiful people." McCoy said. Featured on the program will be vocal sacred gems of the season by Bach, Handel and Franck, alongside Christmas carols and spirtiuals. The church is located at 201 Walnut Blvd. Petersburg, Virginia 23805. This concert is free, but an offering will be taken to support Patrick's first professional lecture presentation n February 2012 at the University of California at Irvine. McCoy has been invited by the founder of the African-American Art Song Alliance, Dr. Darryl Taylor to participate in this landmark event. To be listed in the concert program as a patron, checks may be sent to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 201 Walnut Blvd., Petersburg, VA 23805, by December 5. The memo line should read "Patrick D.
